I have been looking for an open pollinated equivalent to Mountain Fresh Plus for a few years now but without much success. Estate was one of four varieties that I tried this past year and it not only equaled but surpassed my hopes. It is very productive, perfectly globe shaped, has good flavor, in the 8-10oz range. I loved that it was firm enough to pack and sell at the farmer's market but not hard like a super market tomato, and in a rough year when other tomatoes were splitting, sun scalding, and some even had blossom end rot, Estate yielded perfect tomatoes with none of these problems. I will definitely be growing it for years to come!
