Flowers: Dahlia |
Dahlia x hybrida I had always thought of dahlia as a tuberous flower, little realizing that there is a whole world of dahlia growing from seed. The sweetest thing about growing from seed is the incredible diversity you can explore, and you can save tubers from your favorite finds. If only peppers and tomatoes were so easy! Dahlias make wonderful cut flowers, and because they don't ship well, make a wonderful local cut. Space 12" apart. Start early in the greenhouse or outside after frost. Seeds Per Gram: 125 Oregon Tilth Certified Organic Seed
